Huaci Water Repellent Ceramic Fiber Blanket is designed for high-temperature insulation systems exposed to moisture, steam, rain, condensation, or intermittent water contact. Unlike conventional ceramic fiber blankets that may absorb moisture and experience temporary loss of insulation efficiency, this product is treated with an integral hydrophobic modification process to improve resistance to water penetration.
The blanket is manufactured from high-purity alumina and silica fibers with a combined Al₂O₃ + SiO₂ content of at least 99%. After fiber formation and double-sided needle punching, a dedicated waterproof treatment is applied throughout the material structure rather than only on the surface. This enables the blanket to repel liquid water while maintaining its flexibility, thermal insulation performance, and structural integrity.
