Product Overview
Ceramic Fiber Bulk is loose spun wool supplied in bales, with no forming step at all - no needling, no wet forming, no binder. It is the raw form of the material: 100% inorganic, binder-free, shipped as fluffy interlaced fibre that is either packed into a cavity on site or fed into a downstream line to be made into blanket, board, paper or rope. Classification is 1260 C with continuous service at 1100 C.
Because it arrives loose, it goes where no formed product can: irregular gaps, expansion joints, pipe penetrations and maintenance cavities left behind after a refractory repair. It is also the form our own plant and customer plants take in when they are making something else out of it.

Application Scenarios
Ceramic Fiber Bulk is packed into expansion joints on boiler flues, high-temperature pipeline penetrations, thermal equipment maintenance cavities and the irregular voids behind hot-face refractories. Plant engineers use it for retrofit insulation upgrades on older furnaces where rigid board will not fit the geometry. As a secondary use, the wool feeds downstream blanket, board, paper and rope lines, both in our own plant and at customer facilities.

Q: How do I estimate the thickness I need for a wall?
A: Send the inside temperature, the allowable outside surface temperature and the wall framing details. We calculate the required bulk density and layer thickness from the conductivity values and the heat balance for your application.
Q: Can the wool be used in reducing atmospheres?
A: Yes, but derate the continuous working temperature by 100-150 C against oxidising service. For sustained reducing service above 1000 C, upgrade to a zirconia-containing grade.
Q: Does the wool absorb sound as well as heat?
A: Yes. The fluffy interlaced structure damps noise across the medium-frequency range, and it is often specified as acoustic insulation around industrial fans, compressors and boiler houses alongside its thermal duty.
Q: How is the wool packed for export?
A: Standard export packing is compressed bales inside woven polypropylene bags with moisture-proof plastic film wrap, strapped on a wooden pallet. Bale weight is adjustable from 10 to 25 kg.
Q: Can I use it as feedstock for my own line?
A: Yes. The wool is supplied as the raw input for downstream blanket, board, paper and rope production, and is the same material our own forming lines run on.
