Ceramic Fiber Paper is a thin, flexible refractory sheet made from high-purity aluminosilicate fibre with an eco-friendly inorganic binder. It is produced in thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 6 mm, which puts it in a different class from blanket and board: this is a sheet that gets die-cut, punched and laminated into a specific shape rather than laid as a course. Continuous service is rated at 1100 C with a 1260 C classification.
The sheet is built for sealing. Its compressibility lets it take up the unevenness in a flange face or a door reveal, and its recovery keeps bolt load from relaxing over years of service. It is also used as an electrical barrier, because the inorganic composition holds dielectric performance at temperature.

A: Permanent compression set at 25% deflection is below 10% after 1100 C x 24 h. Where bolt load retention matters, use the higher-density 260-280 kg/m3 grade.
Q: Does the sheet resist flue gas condensate?
A: Yes. The inorganic binder and aluminosilicate fibre resist weak acid, weak alkali and steam condensate. It is not recommended for hydrofluoric or concentrated phosphoric acid service.
