Product Overview
HuaCi Inorganic Ceramic Fiber Board is a rigid, self-supporting refractory panel produced from high-purity alumina-silicate fibers bonded exclusively with a phosphate-based inorganic binder. Because no organic binder is used, the board releases no smoke, no odor, and no combustible residue during the first heat-up of a new furnace, which simplifies commissioning and protects downstream equipment such as burners, fans, and stack gas analyzers. The wet-vacuum forming line in our own plant delivers uniform fiber distribution, low shot content, and a smooth dense surface that machines cleanly with carbide tools. Two classification temperatures are stocked as standard: ICF-1260 for general high-temperature service and ICF-1430 with added zirconia for higher hot-face ratings. Every board leaves our line with a batch identification number that links back to the raw material mill certificate, the forming parameters, and the laboratory test record.
Key Features
100% inorganic binder system eliminates first heat-up smoke and protects downstream equipment.
Two classification grades stocked: ICF-1260 (1260 C) and ICF-1430 (1430 C) for different hot-face ratings.
Density range 250-720 kg/m3 lets the same product family cover backup insulation and rigid structural layers.
Low thermal conductivity keeps furnace wall heat loss under control and shortens heat-up time.
Stable at continuous 1100-1200 C service with linear shrinkage below 3% (1260 grade) or 4% (1430 grade).
Smooth dense surface machines to tight tolerances; standard tolerances length/width +/-1 mm, thickness +/-0.5 mm.

Application Scenarios
This board is specified wherever rigid refractory panels must deliver hot-face or backup performance without organic contamination. Iron and steel buyers use it as ladle backup, tundish expansion joint inserts and torpedo car lining. Non-ferrous operators specify it for aluminium reduction cell backup and molten-metal trough covers. Ceramic and glass plants line shuttle, tunnel and roller kilns with it, and petrochemical or power stations use it for boiler and combustion chamber hot-face panels. We also supply it as cut-to-shape gaskets and expansion joint fillers for general industrial high-temperature service.
Factory & Service Advantages
We are a trading company with our own production facility, not a broker. The forming line, the warehouse and the export packing operation are all under our direct control. Each board carries a batch ID that traces back through raw material intake, fiber blending, vacuum pressure, forming time, curing temperature and final laboratory test. Standard sizes ship from finished goods stock; custom cuts, grooves and complex profiles go through in-house milling and profiling. Documentation bundles (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, mill test certificate) are prepared per destination-port requirements, and OEM runs under private label are routine for our overseas distributors.
FAQ
Q: Will the board smoke during the first heat-up of a new furnace?
A: No. Because the binder is 100% inorganic phosphate, there is no organic component to burn off. First heat-up can proceed on the standard curing schedule without ventilation for smoke clearance.
Q: How do I choose between the 1260 grade and the 1430 grade?
A: Use ICF-1260 for continuous service up to 1100-1150 C with occasional peaks to 1200 C. Step up to ICF-1430 when the hot-face rating is above 1200 C or when reducing atmosphere or molten splash exposure is expected.
Q: Can the board be cut, drilled or milled on site?
A: Yes. Use carbide-tipped saws and drills. The low-shot fiber structure produces clean edges without delamination. For complex profiles (curved segments, tongue-and-groove, burner-block cavities) we can machine to your CAD drawing in our workshop before shipment.
Q: What anchors or fixing methods are compatible with this product?
A: Ceramic stud anchors, refractory-grade stainless steel pins andalusite washers, and bonded mortar systems all work. The high-density grade (400-480 kg/m3) is preferred when threaded anchor retention is required.
Q: Is batch documentation available for third-party audit?
A: Yes. Each shipment is accompanied by a mill test certificate with the batch ID, raw material certificate, dimensional check, density result, compressive and modulus of rupture values, and loss on ignition. SGS, BV or Intertek verification can be arranged on request.
