Product Overview
Fire Rated Ceramic Fiber Board is specified where a documented fire performance matters, not just thermal insulation. The board is made from high-purity alumina-silicate fibre with a high-temperature inorganic binder, then pressed and cured into a rigid, non-combustible sheet that keeps its integrity when a fire boundary has to hold. Its role is to contain fire and radiant heat inside a defined area - between plant rooms, behind furnace panels, along duct runs - so that fire does not spread through a structure or reach critical equipment. Because the board is rigid and dimensionally stable, it can be fixed as a permanent fire partition that will not slump or fall away during a fire. It is supplied in 1050 C, 1260 C and 1430 C grades to match the fire exposure of the application, and it can be machined to the exact panel size a fire-rated assembly requires.
