Product Overview
Aerogel Blanket is a flexible, roll-form nano-porous insulation sheet made from high-purity silica aerogel compounded with a high-temperature resistant fibre substrate, finished through gel compounding and constant-temperature curing. It is supplied on rolls and slit to width on the production line, so the same roll can be cut into 50 mm, 100 mm or 300 mm strips for wrapping pipework, elbows, valves, vessels and other irregular industrial surfaces where a rigid board cannot be applied.
The blanket is the practical choice for pipeline retrofit and LNG cryogenic-to-hot transition insulation: it follows the contour of the equipment, jacketed over existing rock wool or calcium silicate, and stays stable under long-term hot-face exposure without shrinkage, powdering or fibre shedding. Compared with conventional rock wool or glass wool, it cuts laying thickness by more than half for the same heat loss.

Aerogel Blanket is the workhorse for high-temperature steam and process pipeline jacketing, LNG regasification and cryogenic-to-hot transition pipe insulation, petrochemical reformer and hydrocracker line lagging, ship and offshore platform pipe insulation, and as an outer wrap over existing rock wool or calcium silicate to bring older steam networks up to current heat-loss standards.
