Calcium Silicate Insulation Board is a rigid, microporous insulation panel made from high-purity calcium silicate hydrate, manufactured by a wet-forming and autoclave-curing process. The resulting microporous structure locks static air in place, which gives the board a thermal conductivity significantly lower than conventional calcium silicate, rock wool or foam boards, and makes it the panel of choice for industrial furnace linings, reformer and ethylene cracker insulation, marine and offshore pipe support inserts, and any rigid insulation application where minimum thickness and maximum thermal performance are both required.
The board is dimensionally stable, easy to cut on site, accepts standard anchors and is rated for continuous service up to 1050 C. The microporous structure means that the same insulating value can be delivered at roughly half the thickness of a conventional board, which shortens installation time and frees up space in congested plant rooms.
